WHY: Marion “Tony” Thompson, FACHE, Chief Executive Officer of Allen County Regional Hospital, announces the opening of Allen County Regional Clinic Moran. The ribbon cutting on Tuesday will feature Thompson and the clinic’s provider, physician assistant JoAnna Curl, PA. Following short remarks, Thompson and Curl will lead free public tours of the clinic.
The clinic, which will be open 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday and staffed by Curl, will offer area residents school and sports physicals; family and preventative care; “welcome to Medicare and Medicare” wellness exams; flu vaccines; women’s care; and minor surgeries and lacerations repair.
“This is a significant part of our growth as a leading healthcare provider in Southeast Kansas,” Thompson says. “It’s important to provide convenient, high-quality and compassionate healthcare to people in their own backyard, and Allen County Regional Clinic Moran will do just that.
