Allen County Regional Hospital welcomes Terry D. Schwab, M.D, to the hospital’s medical staff. Dr. Schwab, a board certified orthopedic surgeon with more than 30 years of experience, will provide high-quality and compassionate orthopedic care to area residents at the 25-bed Critical Care Access hospital.
Most recently Dr. Schwab was in Fort Scott at the Mercy Physician Group. Prior to that, he was with Orthopaedic Specialists of the Four States in Joplin, Missouri, and Freeman Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine in Joplin. Dr. Schwab earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Kearney State College in Kearney, Nebraska and his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. He performed his internship and an orthopaedic residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Schwab is married to Kim and has four children, Zach, Ethan, Savannah and Abbey.
